She picked herself off the ground and crawled over to Anne where she began to beg, “Mrs. Sager, it’s all my fault. Blame it all on me. I never should have fallen in love with Ron. I never should have been together with him in the first place. If you’re going to punish someone, let it be me, but please, please have mercy on my children and Ron!”

Inside the car, Lisa scoffed with stark disdain, “She’s fallen in love with Ron? As if anybody would believe that.”

Sherry held her tongue.

This ex-secretary of Ron was truly something.

Her tearful outburst incited Ron further, so his hatred for Anne had grown to an unprecedented degree. If he could, he would have killed Anne with his bare hands right then and there.

“Willow, get up!” He shouted as he approached the mistress hastily.

The mistress was drenched in tears by this point. She collapsed weakly in his arms and whimpered, “Ron, I don’t want to lose my children. I don’t want anything to happen to you…”

Ron embraced her tightly to comfort her.

Bearing witness to this scandalous scene, Anne erupted with fury.

“You bastard! Both of you are disgusting!” she shrieked and charged past the bodyguard shielding her. She swung her fist in complete abandon.

Ron parried all of her blows before landing a vicious slap right across Anne’s face.

Anne howled in pain and collapsed to the ground.

The bodyguards ran up to her quickly.

Ron was one step ahead of the bodyguards and dug his fingers tightly into Anne’s neck. He glared at the bodyguard murderously and threatened them, his voice a sharp sting, “I’ll strangle her to death if you come closer!”
