He wore an amused look on his face the entire time but it was clear that there was nothing but stark disdain in his eyes as he looked at the mistress. “Don’t look at me like that. I’ve seen countless types of women and you’re the type that I hate the most.”

Willow froze and did not know how to respond.

Carl ignored her, then he turned around and went toward the parking lot.

Anne had brought the two children to her car.
