She was thrown into John’s arms with her body pressed up close against his.

Her face turned beet red immediately. She quickly pushed herself off the bed.

Before she was aware of what was happening, she felt a palm pressing down on the back of her head.

She only managed to push herself off John for a second, barely enough to gasp for air, before she was pressed toward him again. Their lips pressed closely against each other’s and sealed together in a fervent

kiss.

He kissed her for several seconds before letting go of her head.

Just when thought she could wring herself free at last, she noticed that John had held her hands tightly behind her back.

She flopped helplessly on top of him. In an instant, something vicious flared in her eyes as she shouted, ” You b*stard, get your stinky hands off me!”

“This bed is big enough for both of us, you can sleep with me tonight,” John said devilishly.

Sherry rolled her eyes and shot down his advances without a second thought. “You’d wish.”

She promised to forgive him, but she never said a word about getting intimate with him again!

John squinted, his expression began to darken. “I only asked you to sleep here because I’m worried that you’d be uncomfortable sleeping on the recliner. Don’t worry, I can’t do anything to you in my current state anyway.

He playfully tapped Sherry on the forehead and teased her. “What, did you have something special in mind?”

Sherry was speechless.

Her cheeks were flushed red.

In a fit of embarrassment, she angrily thumped John on his shoulder. “I won’t sleep with you, let go!” Amid her outburst, she noticed that John winced for a split second. It looked like he was holding his back. She immediately came to her senses, and her demeanor shifted instantly. “What’s wrong? Did I hurt you?” John made a look and assured her. “It’s okay, it didn’t hurt much.”

Had she accidentally irritated his wounds? She grew anxious. “Let me go so I can call the doctor to take a look at you.”

“It’s okay, you don’t need to get the doctor,” John said rather stoutly, “Besides, there’s no point calling the doctor, it’s not like they can make the pain stop. I’ll get better in a few more days, don’t worry about it.”

Sherry was shocked to hear this. “Does your wound hurt all the time?”
