Chapter 1811
The response came in the form of dollar bills swishing in through the gap underneath the door.
Isabel’s eyes glowed like someone had switched a light on, and she turned to Flint.
Flint immediately got on his knees and began collecting every bill he could get his hands on, swiftly tucking them into his pouch all the while.
Sherry watched them with great amusement.
Sylvia spectated with intrigue as well.
An endless torrent of dollar bills came sliding in underneath the door.
Flint had his hands full in no time.
Isabel crossed her arms and stood her ground.
Soon, they heard John’s voice again. “Do you know who I am now?”
Flint answered while scrambling on the floor, “I do now, I do now.”
“Will you open the door for me now?” John asked.
Isabel stood her ground. “Uncle John, I’m nothing like Flint, you won’t win me over with just money.”
Flint suddenly declared boldly while still picking up one dollar bill after another, “Yes, that’s right!”
John laughed heartily. “How can I get you to open the door?”
“Hmm… I’ll have to think about it.” Isabel thought long and hard.
Sylvia gave her a look, hinting that it was about time to stop toying with John and let him into the room.
It had been a long time since Sherry last met Isabel and Flint. She knew that these two children were very tenacious and not to be messed with. She wagered that they were going to have their fill of fun with John before they let him in.
Sherry smiled faintly and approached Caprice.
She was the one most dear to John, so it was time for her to say something.
She looked around and finally spotted Caprice seated on the couch with Liam.
Liam was spinning a six-by-six Rubik’s cube. It looked like he was performing for her.
Caprice leaned against his shoulder, the image of Liam was reflected in her pupils.
She barely even noticed what was happening with her father.
Sherry made a look.
