Freya could sense Kenneth’s disdain toward Caprice. Always the loyal friend, she backed Caprice up, “That’s right. I managed to get two spots for me and Caprice two days ago. We don’t need your help to get inside.”

Upon hearing this, Kenneth and Jonathan turned white, they felt called out.

Moses expressed regretfully, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it like that. I was just asking out of curiosity. I happen to know someone who works inside, so I figured I could help you girls out if you haven’t secured a spot yet.”

Freya refused to back down. “So what if it’s five thousand? I’d be willing to buy it even if it costs fifty thousand!”

Kenneth mused sarcastically, “You sure are pretty rich for a university student. I wonder where you get your money from.”

Caprice frowned and tried again to pull Freya away.

Caprice was alarmed by this and quickly stepped in front of Freya.

Moses stepped between Kenneth and Freya to mediate the situation. “Kenneth, Freya, I’m going to need you two to calm down!”

“Moses, we’ll be going for now. It doesn’t seem like Kenneth is very fond of us,” Caprice remarked sharply, then she led Freya by the hand and walked away.
