No, she had to get these whimsical thoughts out of her mind.

This was the same thing as what happened with Decker five years ago. She had imagined herself spending the rest of her life until she got stabbed in the back. Roland coughed shyly. "We just... I’m not sure you can handle another round.”

Isabel’s face grew red-hot as well. She swatted at him and cried out shyly, "What are you thinking about? I just wanted to drink soup, that's all!”

Before she could further protest, Roland drank a spoonful of soup and inched toward her, then he planted his lips onto hers.
