Mated to the Alpha King-Book 1 novel Chapter 16

I just got bright, smiling faces and nods of their heads before they walked out the door.

"Are you okay Lucas?"

"You did it."

"Did what?"

"You used your Luna voice and took control of the situation without me. You acted like the Queen you are. I'm so proud of you baby girl."

I couldn't help but blush as he placed a kiss on my shoulder. I really did use my Luna voice? Cool.

A few minutes later and Andria came back with a pair of black leggings, a blue tank top, and a pair of Nike's before leaving again.

"Lucas. I need to change."

"Humph."

Ten more minutes of coaxing and Lucas finally let go so I could change. Man did I look good. I don't even care that you can see the scars on my arms.

"Beautiful."

I quickly jump as I see Lucas enter the closet to grab a hoodie before grabbing my hand and leading me out of our room.

Our room.

He lead my to a set of stairs at the end of a hallway with three doors on each side. The floors were of a dark, almost black, wood with a lush grey carpet running down the center.

The walls were a light natural grey with pictures lining them, giving a classy but homey vibe.

We descended to the main floor before we walked to a set of large wood doors. Out the doors was a beautiful front yard with woods maybe 0 ft away.

We walked hand and hand to the woods and continued walking till we were standing in a clearing with beautiful daisies and other wild flowers growing.

"You can go behind one of those trees to shift. I'm going to go behind the large oak right across."

I can't wait to shift and I also can't wait to see his wolf again.

I do as he says and walk behind a tree. I place my clothes in a neat pile and prepare to shift.

Hopefully he likes what we look like. After some research with Luna Adeline I found out that there is no other red wolf recorded anywhere. Another reason I wasn't aloud to shift. I was different.

Different is bad.

As I shift I embrace the feeling of my bones snapping into their different positions.

Kenna and Sorren race to each other meeting in a heap in the middle of the field. I have never been able to be in wolf form for this long and it's only been ten minutes.

Kenna's happiness was apparent and I couldn't help feeling happy too.

The two wolves race and chase each other, never being more than six feet away from each other. They only "met" today but anyone around would be able to tell how much they loved each other.

Thank you Audrey. Thank you for trying and letting us spend time with mate.

You have taken care of me since I can remember, and besides how could we ignore that hot specimen we can claim as our own?

Anyway I'm glad we can be happy now.

Me too Kenna. Me too...

A few more hours of letting Kenna and Sorren get to know each other and play, I decided it was time to shift back and take over before Kenna and Sorren got a little too friendly.

When Sorren noticed the change in my eyes and demeanor he gave control back to Lucas who understood that I wanted to shift back.

After shifting and getting dressed, I met Lucas back in the middle of the field. I got distracted though when I see a small red flower growing in the middle of a patch of daisies.

A sharp contrast to the pure white that surrounds it, I can't help but stare at the bright scarlet flower. So different then the others yet still looking like it belonged.
