Daryl also knew what was going on. She nodded and said, "Okay."
Sofia was well aware that Daryl's husband didn't allow her to have any intimate contact with any other man.
However, Ann was puzzled. She heard that in the past, Daryl never needed a substitute. Why did she need a substitute in such a hugging scene now?
But it didn't seem to be putting on airs. She just felt a little strange.
There was not much work for Daryl in the afternoon, but when she waited aside, Lewis brought her a cup of milk tea.
Out of politeness, Daryl couldn't refuse, so she took it. But she didn't like it, so she gave it to Ann.
"Does Lewis like you?"
Sofia came over, took a look at the direction where Lewis went back, and said to Daryl, "I always feel that this guy has a bad intention for you."
Daryl said helplessly, "You think too much. Maybe he just sees me as his idol."
"No, I think you'd better keep an eye on him. Don't have any scandal with him."
Sofia didn't believe it. According to her years of experience, it was highly likely that Lewis had a crush on Daryl.
"Okay, I see."
Daryl comforted her, "From now on, I will do business and keep a distance from others, okay?"
"Okay." Sofia nodded.
Hearing their conversation, Ann drank the milk tea silently. Then she took out her phone and sent a message secretly.
"By the way, is the business card of Lyman still in your hand?"
Daryl asked Sofia. She gave Lyman's business card to her casually last time.
"It's here with me. Have you decided to sign the contract with him?" Sofia asked.
"It's still early."
Daryl shook her head, "Give me the business card. I have something to send to him."
Hearing this, Sofia took out a pile of business cards from her bag. The most expensive one was Lyman's. She handed it to her and asked casually.
"What are you going to do?"
"Candida came to me today."
Daryl took out her phone and began to play with it without raising her head.
"What?" Sofia was shocked. "When did she come to you? What did she say? Did she bully you?"
Daryl looked up and smiled at her. "Can I be bullied by her?" As she spoke, she waved the precious private card in her hand. Her eyes were clear and resolute. "This time, I will let her taste the feeling of falling down from the crown step by step."
Sofia seemed to see what she was going to do, but she didn't ask more. She just told her, "Then be careful. Don't play with fire."
Now, all Sofia wanted was to help Daryl turn over. Before she returned to her peak state five years ago, she was worried that she would rely on any background to revenge.
After all, men were not trustworthy.
"I know."
Daryl replied. Then she cut the conversation she recorded this morning and sent it to Lyman.
After that, she packed up and stood up to take off her clothes and makeup.
Vivian hadn't been finished shooting yet. Steve ran to her and asked, "How long will it end today?"
Vivian said, "About two hours."
"Well, let's call it a day." "That's all for today. It doesn't matter. We're not in a hurry anyway."
Vivian was confused, "Oh."
She finally followed the order and ended the work.
