As Evan was about to reach home, she would have to leave soon. Otherwise, she would have to make something up if she were to leave the house by the time that he reached home.

After she made up her mind, she grabbed her bag and blazer with her and departed right away.

By the time she reached Levant Winery, Levant had all sorts of delicacies prepared in anticipation of her arrival.

Glaring at him furiously, Nicole confronted him, saying, “Levant, what the heck are you up to?”

Levant had long imagined that she would show up furious. Raising his head and staring at her, he served her a glass of tea casually and offered, “You must have been rushing all the way here. Why don’t you have a glass of tea and calm yourself?”
