In the toy room on the second floor.
Zeph was testing a small helicopter. When he saw Vivianna, he grinned, "Mommy, look at my helicopter."
She studied the gigantic room full of expensive mechanical toys. She was speechless, 'That man was pampering the son!'
"Mommy, daddy promised me to make me a huge park with toys behind the yard." Zeph brought up exciting news again.
Vivianna was even more speechless. She squatted down and looked at Zeph, "Son, even if your daddy is rich, you shouldn't ask for everything. You should treasure what you have, you can't have whatever you want."
"Mommy, I know. I won't do it in the future." Zeph obviously realized that he was wrong.
"Okay, since he already bought it, go and play! Mommy will be here." Vivianna caressed his little head and comforted him.
Perhaps men pampered their children in a different way.
Vivianna was accompanying her son on the second floor, but when she thought of what Augustine had said, she felt furious for no reason. How could that man say that to her? She did not even hook up. Even if she were to hook up with someone, what did it have to do with him?
Half an hour later, the butler went upstairs to ask them to have dinner together. Vivianna took her son downstairs to wash their hands.
Augustine was already sitting at the golden dining table. He looked at the woman, who was holding her son's hand, with a complicated expression.
"Daddy." Zeph called out sweetly and sat beside him. Augustine stretched out his hand and stroked his little head affectionately, his eyes soft and oozing with a father's love.
Vivianna sat down and handed Zeph a bowl of rice to let him eat by himself.
Zeph had developed a good habit of eating since he was young. He held a spoon in his chubby little hand and ate it with relish.
Vivianna didn't have any appetite, so she kept her head down and ate silently. While Augustine was eating elegantly, he glanced at Vivianna and Zeph from time to time.
It was inevitable for Vivianna to meet his eyes. She stared at him with a trace of resentment, while Augustine looked away expressionlessly as if he
didn't see.
After dinner, Vivianna was going to take Zeph to bath. He sweated a lot in the afternoon so he was smelling. However, Zeph wanted his father's help.
Augustine looked at the angry woman smugly and took his son upstairs.
She sighed and sat on the sofa. A servant served her a plate of fruits and drink.
"Miss Carlewood, please have some fruits."
"Thank you." Vivianna replied politely.
Other than Augustine, everyone in the castle was very polite to her.
In the bathroom, Zeph was playing with water and singing. He was as happy as a lark.
Augustine took the shower gel and put it on Zeph. He then asked in a natural tone, "Zeph, when you were abroad, did your mommy have an uncle by her side?"
The little fellow blinked and guessed the meaning of Dad's question immediately. He giggled and said, "Daddy, are you saying that when we were abroad, did any uncle court mommy?"
Augustine was slightly stunned. He underestimated Zeph. He replied, "Was there any?" "Yes! It's just that mommy didn't like those uncles." "Those? So there were more than one?" Augustine's face gloomed. Sure enough, that woman was very attractive.
Zeph had no idea his answer would affect his mommy.
"Are you sure your mommy wasn't seeing those uncles?" Augustine tried to get more information about Vivianna from his son.
Zeph tilted her head and thought for a moment. Since he was still young, his memory was limited. He shook his little head and continued, "I'm not sure either. Daddy, you'd better go and ask Mommy."
Augustine ended the topic and started to talk about building an amusement park.
However, in his heart, his impression of Vivianna became worse.
Vivianna was innocent, she was framed by her son. She was sitting on the sofa downstairs eating fruits. She couldn't help but think about the incident of bumping into Xenophilius that day. He had the audacity to ask her if she was well! When she was driven out with nothing, why didn't he think about how she was going to live?
