In the end, Edward had no choice because of Lara and went directly to the old house.

“No,” Old Man Nolan said.
“It seems that Silas’ will not be able to recover for a while. What about the company? Dad, you have to find a person in charge!” Edward sighed helplessly. “What do you mean?” Old Man Nolan looked at Edward with a sharp gaze.
