It suited her very well.

He had always known she was beautiful, but when she put on this dress, he realized that her beauty was so eye–catching that it was hard not to stare at her. 

Stella had heard Angelina‘s compliments countless times today, so she was immune to these words and smiled at him. “Thank you, Mr. Yates. You are very handsome today as well.” 

Her compliments sounded official, with polite courtesy. 

Yates smiled and clinked glasses with her.
