After Euan had rushed to answer, William added, “I’m afraid this won’t work, I only booked two rooms and I don’t think it would be appropriate for Sarah and me to share a room.”

Sarah then said, “Of course it’s not appropriate!”

Riley said, “Then how about this, Sarah and I can share a room together which means you two can both share the other room…”

Damn! How could she even suggest this? The situation between William and Euan was currently very awkward; there was perhaps even a chance they would destroy the room if they had to share one together.

William accepted this arrangement since Euan and Riley didn’t share a room together, “I’m fine with this, but I’m not sure if Euan is willing to suffer for just one evening?”

If Euan didn’t agree then he would just appear unreasonable and this was not gentle at all, so in the end he had no choice but to accept it.

The two rooms were on different floors, one being on the second floor and the other on the third floor of the villa. Riley and Sarah were to share the master bedroom on the third floor, and although the room on the second floor was also a master bedroom, the size was not the same.

“Riley, my heart feels as if it’s going to stop beating! How was your husband able to find us here? This has scared me so much! I really fear that Euan will end up fighting with William!”

Sarah was clutching her chest, gasping for breath.

“Well, I only told one of the servants, but how could I have expected he would still find out? He should have been at home today with Lydia.”

Lydia was really a headache.

“My god, do you think a war will erupt in the room downstairs? I’m very worried about the state this house will be left in.”

“That shouldn’t happen… right?” Even Riley wasn’t too sure.

Today really was very awkward.

Inside the bedroom downstairs.

Euan was sat down on the sofa with his slender legs crossed as if he was he was the one in control, “William, what intentions do you have towards my wife?’

William who was holding a glass of water was sat down on the opposite sofa, “Riley is a very great woman, as for what intention? What do you think?”

He seemed to not be afraid that he was signing a death wish.

“I don’t care what your intentions are for her, but I advise you to keep your distance from her. Because I’m afraid that not even you would be able to deal with the consequences if you were to take things further.”

William took a sip of water and then put the glass down on the table. “Everyone is attracted to beautiful things, she is your wife I know that, but you should also know that in the end your marriage is only bound by a marriage contract, which is nothing compared with the true love between two people.”

“Love? So what you have between yourself and my wife is love?”

It was clear, Euan’s words were full of sarcasm and anger.

William shook his said, “Frankly speaking, no, she hasn’t accepted me yet. However I think that she doesn’t have much love for you either, otherwise she wouldn’t do something that might break apart the marriage. I also think that you don’t love her too am I right? People will always be happy with true love, but as you see her now, do you think she is happy with you?”

Euan wanted to shoot him down right now.

“Mr. Hardesty, even though you are just the third wheel between Riley and me, you seem to think you are so proud of what you were doing, you looked quite confident. As her husband, I would like to issue an honoured certificate for seducing my wife.”

“Euan, I have no intention of getting involved with your marriage. I only hope that the person I care about can be happy, even if the person she chooses in the end isn’t me.”

“Don’t worry, she won’t be choosing you.”

“Perhaps, but not necessarily.”

“This is just your assumption, not the facts.” Euan didn’t want to talk nonsense with him anymore; this woman would be his forever, so why did others think they could get involved?

Either get lost or die.

“Mr. George really does possess much power, so it would be very easy for you to bring me down. Not just me, but you could even bankrupt the hospital with just one word if you wanted to. However, fortunately you are still a man of integrity, and I would hope that you wouldn’t do something like that to me.”

What was he doing? Flattering him to save himself?

He definitely won’t be a person to something in that way.

“If it’s for love, then what’s there to stop me?”

He just knocked the table from time to time meaningful, up and down, it was like throwing a big stone in the water, it caused huge waves.

William said nothing else, but wondered whether he could actually win this battle or not.

Early morning the next day.

As they went downstairs Riley and Sarah saw that the two men were already up and sitting in the living room.

The two of them were actually able to be civil with one another? What a surprise!

As Riley walked over, both Euan and William turned their heads at the same time and said in unison, “Did you sleep well?”

It sounded like a natural greeting that William would say, but it sounded slightly strange coming from Euan.

Riley nodded at the two of them, “Very well, how about the two of you?”

The two of them both answered the same.

But as she thought about it, it was strange that the two of them were able to sleep so well in the same room.

Sarah then quickly rushed over to break the awkwardness, “I’m hungry, can we eat something?”

“Of course, we were just waiting for you two to come downstairs.”

Euan then grabbed her hand, “Let’s go back after breakfast.”

“Why so soon?”

“Is it because of the location or the people?” Euan held her hand tightly; right now he just wanted to hide this woman away into the villa and never let her out again!

Due to the unpleasant conversation from last night, Euan wasn’t able to get much sleep.

Same for William.

“I promised Sarah that I would accompany her for two days, so if you need to go back now then that’s fine.”

He was holding her hand not that tightly, but she didn’t try to struggle free.

“You made me come here, but you don’t want to leave with me?’

What a joke!

“How did I make you come here?”

She didn’t understand.

“If you didn’t want me to come then why did you tell the servant where you were, and then even tell them that you wouldn’t be returning home for the night? You think I wouldn’t be able to take the hint?”

By god, She had no idea how that had made him think this way.
