“You traitor!” Felicity gritted her teeth. “Why didn’t you tell me you were on call with Keegan?”

Stella could not stop laughing. “I was about to tell you, but you were too quick.”

Felicity threw a pillow at Stella’s head. “You’re the worst!”

Then, she went to grab her jacket and put on her shoes.

Stella sat up. “Where are you going?”

Felicity glared at her while putting her shoes on, “Running away for my life! Keegan is downstairs, isn’t he? He’s going to kill me if he sees me here later.”

Then, she opened the door and hurriedly ran to the unit next door.

The doorbell rang less than two minutes after Felicity left. Stella went to get the door and saw Keegan standing outside with a bag in his hand.

She could not help but laugh after seeing him.

Keegan went inside and closed the door. Then, he gazed at Stella and asked, “What’s so funny?”

Stella crossed her arms and replied playfully, “Thank god Felicity can run fast. Otherwise, she’d be stuck in here with you.”

“Am I the kind of person who holds grudges?” Keegan asked.

Stella shook her head. “No, you’re the kind of person who’d take revenge as soon as they can.”

Her response left Keegan speechless.

He placed the bag he was holding on the dining table and said, “I bought some pork loin rice for you both.”

Stella paused, and a faint smile appeared on her face.

Stella found what he said funny. She pinched his ear and whispered, “Mr. Kane, you’re thirty now. How can you be so clingy?”

Keegan tilted his head and pecked her lips. “The older I get, the more I want to start a family.”

Stella kept quiet as she thought to herself. ‘That’s all he thinks about. I’m impressed.’

“Have you seen the news today?” Stella asked. Keegan thought for a moment. “About Bella?”

Stella nodded. “Was it you who leaked the recording?”

Keegan shook his head. “No, it was her assistant.”

“Tammy Gull?” Stella was taken aback.

“Yeah.”

“Aren’t they cousins? Why would Tammy do this to her?”
