Vermont took a box from the table and opened it in front of Felicity. “I bought you fifty-two of them. You can change one every day and won’t be wearing the same one for a month.
“If you get tired of the design, well melt it and redesign it at a jewelry store for just a few bucks of craftsmanship fees.”
Felicity’s face turned red in anger. ‘ Do you think I’m a lion’s mane jellyfish with a lot of tentacles? Why would I need fifty-two rings?” ‘This is outrageous! What’s going on in his head? What exactly do I see in this stupid thing?’ Felicity cursed inwardly.
Vermont hugged her closely. “Aren’t you touched at all? You have fifty-two rings.
All of your friends will be jealous of you once you post them online.”
Felicity struggled and said, “I’ll be laughed at! Who gets proposed to with dozens of rings? Are you crazy? Which one am I going to wear at the wedding?
Should I change one every minute? What were you even thinking?
Vermont immediately came up with a silly idea. “You can string them into a necklace and wear them around your neck during the wedding. That way, we don’t have to spend more money on a necklace.”
Felicity got even angrier and bit his shoulder.
Vermont bent over, lifted her by the buttocks with both hands and hung her around his waist. Then, he casually patted her butt and said, “How’s your tailbone now?”
She released her bite and gritted her teeth. “I got so angry that it healed itself!”
Then, she suddenly noticed the red mark around Vermont’s neck and frowned.
“What’s this on your neck?”
She reached out to rub it as she spoke, and the red smeared onto her finger.
The red mark on Vermont’s neck faded.
“What did you put on your neck?”
