Most of the wives were discussing the divorce between Keegan and Stella in private.

Even though not everyone was fond of Stella, they felt that Keegan did not handle things adequately.

He divorced Stella as soon as she had just lost her mother.

Dahlia implied that she did not intend for them to divorce.
