When Andrew went back to the hotel room, there was no one to be seen.
He stood at the door and the room was empty. But when he saw the clothes that she changed out of was still laying on the bed, his frozen expression softened and started to breathe calmly.
He took out his phone and dialed a number. Great, no one answered.
Redialed…
It rang for thirty seconds and no one answered.
He threw the phone onto the bed and the phone rebounded.
His eyes were furious and the fire within him raged burning on the secret that he had been suppressing. His anger and fury kept burning within.
“Where is she?”
He picked up the phone and wanted so much to punch the person.
The voice of anger was the result of all the fury that was welled up within.
On the other end, Ernest was driving and heard the vocal tearing yell, he looked at the woman seated behind and said to the cell phone, “She is fine and with us. They wanted to come out for a stroll and I brought them out.”
“Where? Tell me!”
He rushed out and demanded over the phone.
“What are you saying?”
At his moment, Andrew could clearly hear Anne’s voice over the phone and then the call ended.
He looked stunned at the phone’s black screen.
He anxiously dialed the number again and no matter who among the three he called, their cell phones were turned off.
“Shit!” He cursed and this time he grasped tightly to his phone to the breaking point.
On one end it was thunderous and stormy, on the other end were rainbows and sunshine.
Anne laughed loudly and kept the three cellphones in her bag. “Remember this, today we will let him look for Sarah and see how much she means to him.”
Sarah was helpless and this was Anne’s decision, not hers. When Andrew erupts in anger, don’t ever say that it was her idea. She also wasn’t sure if he will be anxious.
Ernest was driving and said worriedly, “You little rascal, let me tell you, Andrew is not someone you should agitate. If he knew that this was your idea, he won’t let you off easily.”
Anne wasn’t worried at all, “Hey, when that happens you’ll have to help me hold him back. You too Sarah, I did these for you. I don’t care, I just have to do this.”
Sarah was speechless, Anne pushed the responsibility entirely to her.
“What if he goes into a raging fit?” Sarah was very worried about his temper. In the end, it would be something totally unexpected.
When women went out, apart from eating there was only one other motive: Shopping therapy.
Women always feel that their wardrobe is incomplete. Always feel that they can be slimmer and wear a size smaller.
“Just follow us and help us carry, okay?”
Ernest wanted to reject but Anne gave him an ultimatum, “Otherwise we’ll learn from them and sleep in separate rooms, let’s see how that feels.”
Isn’t this asking for his life?
He looked on coldly and helplessly. Ernest could only follow closely behind.
