Mr. Right, Spoil Me novel Chapter 121

“Didn’t I say yesterday not to contact me anymore?”

Sarah heard the phone ring just as she finished showering. She didn’t have the time to wear her clothes and simply wrapped herself with the towel, revealing both her long and fair legs. She rushes out in a hurry to receive the call.

It was like Murphy’s law, the more you worry, the higher the chance it will happen.

It was him.

“Okay, they come out, let’s meet.” The tone of the voice was cold and chilling.

“No.” Sarah refused. It’s so late already. Even if it’s day time, she wouldn’t go!

“You can’t control me,” Matthew said coldly.

Sarah’s body was wet with water beads, pitter patter, and flowed from her neck to her fair collar bones. Drop by drop flowed at the rhythm of her breathing. She shivered slightly from the cold.

As soon as she draped her towel, she heard Matthew’s words and she was furious. “Yes, I can’t control you and neither do I want to. Then next time don’t call me so often, alright?”

It made her so nervous all the time.

“No.” He coldly replied and blocked her words.

Sarah closed her eyes for a moment and then opened them, “Then do you intend to call me every night?”

“No, it’s just temporary, for long term… this is not what I want.”

This seemed to have been well considered.

His voice was very disdainful as if what he is doing now is the very thing that was disgusting.

Sarah doesn’t know why he wants to make this call every night. Both of them do not have any topic to talk about. Each remains quiet for twenty-odd minutes, not only were they wasting the cost of the call but it was very awkward.

“I want to sleep early tonight. If there isn’t anything else, then hang up.”

Regarding what happened last night, her mood hasn’t improved. Tonight Andrew has gone to attend the class reunion but she didn’t go…

Then who else will be on his side?

Hearing her tired voice and sigh, the man understood.

“Want to sleep?”

“Yes, I’m hanging…”

“Place the phone by your bedside, I’ll hang up after you sleep.” Once again he blocked what she wanted to say.

“No, how do I hang up the call when I sleep? Yes, I also want to turn off the phone before I sleep. Radiation is bad to the body.”

Sarah wanted to use as many reasons to counter him.

But over at the man’s end, he counters every sentence. “Now set up your phone to automatically turn off at midnight. Just a few hours of exposure to radiation isn’t sufficient to cause an adult any dangers.

Sarah almost lost her mind because of him and can’t wait to hang up the line. But she anticipated that there will be even more trouble if she hung up the phone. “Okay, I’ll sleep.”

She didn’t hang up the call and just placed it at the bedside. It was quiet except for the sound of footsteps walking about.

Sarah went to the bathroom as her hair was still wet and her goosebumps raised all over her body.

“Where’s Missus?”

He came home full of anger. He walked in rapidly and immediately asked where she was.

The servant saw that Andrew was anxious, angry, and didn’t dare to delay, “Sir, Missus is at home, at home.”

“I asked you where she is!”

He yelled and glared at the servant implying not to say nonsense. He was already walking up the stairs.
