Regarding Bianca’s sudden friendly actions, Sarah felt that she was unable to respond to it.
What’s going on? Isn’t Bianca envious and angry at her?
She was secretly in love with Andrew but Andrew was already married. Then what was on her mind that she personally baked a biscuit for Mrs. Bask?
Her eyes fell onto the biscuit and smiled.
“This…”
She hesitated and looked towards Andrew and let him make the final decision.
He naturally noticed her expression, a soft ridicule, his lips without form with a hint of disdain.
“Don’t eat sweets, return it.”
Andrew made his decision and pushed the package full of biscuits into Sarah’s arms. Since it was Sarah who gave it to him in the first place, she didn’t say another word.
“I’m sorry, the biscuits are indeed great but now I can’t eat sweet stuff.”
Sarah was polite and gracious when rejecting the biscuits with a smile. She was testing if Bianca was suspicious of Andrew. Sometimes women can be extremely sensitive.
“If you want to curry favor, then research in detail whether pregnant women can eat sweet snacks.”
Andrew said sternly, he didn’t even want to look at the biscuits.
True enough Bianca was surprised and in disbelief.
She remembers at the mall at S city, the sales lady said that she bought those infant clothes for a friend. How is it that… it was her who was pregnant…
Then these small biscuits…
“Immediately get rid of them, don’t leave them in the company.” Andrew sternly ordered again after several seconds.
She was clearly disappointed when she heard that. After all, she painstakingly made those snacks and brought them with full of joy to give them to her, but didn’t expect…
“Okay, I understand.” Her expression struggled for a moment and she held tightly to the bag. “But, I still wanted to thank Sarah. If it’s not for you, Director Bask would not agree for me to work here.”
Sarah looked at her and it wasn’t the way she thought. She looked sincere and before she left, she felt that it wasn’t proper to reject someone’s goodwill and accepted the biscuits.
“I see that since you are so sincere, I’ll eat one of them each day. I’ll finish them, eventually one day.”
“Really? You’ll accept them?” She saw that the biscuits were accepted and her gratefulness was rekindled. Bianca smiled again and started to introduce the biscuits, “This flavor is really tasty. Father is always working and my sister got married at a young age leaving me alone at home. So I keep myself busy by baking. Though it can’t be considered gourmet standard, those who had eaten them all remarked that they are delicious so I would like you to try them too.”
As she was saying, Sarah already picked up a biscuit but was initially stopped by Andrew. She pushed him away and put it into her mouth. It was really tasty.
“Thanks, you are so thoughtful. But I only secured an opportunity for you. As to whether you can stay on that will have to depend on your abilities.”
“Okay, I will work hard.” Bianca pursed her lips and encouraged herself.
Sarah was pulled away by Andrew. The biscuits in her hands were tossed to Sandy and totally disregarded by him.
