Mr. Right, Spoil Me novel Chapter 165

It was the night. Sarah Cox still went downstairs as usual to drink water.

The sense of thirsty was unpleasant, let alone she’s pregnant now. Sarah Cox needed more water with a baby growing in her womb so that she went up and down the stairs as much as three times a day.

She chose not to press the alarm besides her bed, for she wanted to get drinks for herself.

During the midnight, wearing a pair of cotton slippers, Sarah Cox was about to go upstairs after pouring water for drinking when suddenly there were rapid footsteps from outside.

The large temperature difference on the island made cotton slippers a must . Luckily, she hided herself swiftly and the cotton slippers did not make any noise. With her pores shockingly shrinking, Sarah Cox cautiously looked outside of the door.

Sarah Cox had already been terrified by the words those people saying this afternoon. The safety in this island was doubtful. Now the group of people outside added moreover an air of weirdness, which made her blood run cold.

She leaned over to see what was happening.

A man in totally black was in sight. Sarah Cox had the impression that he was one of those men working for Matthew Scott.

He was in such a hurry. Did something happen? What was it?

Sarah Cox took a sip of water. Suddenly her heart thumped.

She recalled that the night before she eavesdropped when Matthew Scott was talking about Andrew Bask. Did they send information about that?

She was even more determined when that thought struck her.

Without hesitation Sarah Cox closely followed the man to upstairs.

The figure carefully approached Matthew Scott‘s bedroom.

“I have said rubbish should be directly thrown away. You fool threw to where?”

“Mr.…Mr.Scott, it’s truly my dereliction of duty. I won’t do it next time.”

“Next time?”

“Yeah, no…no…no next time. You hadn’t referred an exact location so we threw it to the sea but rough waves drifted it back …”

“Isn’t it better to bury in soil?”

The voice is so sinister and ruthless that Sarah Cox through the door could still feel the arbitrariness and malevolence out of Matthew Scott.

Sarah Cox couldn’t help but wondered, who on earth was the dead man they were talking about?

Out of curiosity, Sarah Cox continued listening to their dialogue.

“Mr.Scott, it’s our fault. Mrs. Sarah Cox has almost saw it. The local tourists had been all shut up . I assured that Miss Sarah will never know it!”

Hearing herself being mentioned, Sarah Cox was gradually conscious of that something seemed to be wrong.

Sarah Cox now transformed into an unsettled state of mind.

She walked closer and closer and her ear was on the door.

Matthew Scott cast a completely displeased look on the man before , as if he were a dead dog,“You can’t do well in even such a tiny thing. What’s the point of me keeping you?”

“Mr.Scott, please spare me. I dare not to fail you again. I have handled that person with nothing to hold back. As to the other one, I also managed to send him back to country. Rest assured that he won’t reveal your secret. ”

Sarah Cox froze for a while.

“How things are going on about Andrew Bask? ”Matthew Scott changed to another topic.

“Everything is normal. No trace of us is found. The man we sent affirmed that they haven’t found Miss Sarah .”

“Are you sure? This time you had better finish the task .”

“Mr.Scott, the doctor will be here in a few hours. You will know then.”

The man was in full confident, self-satisfied and self-entertained.

Everything was going by the plan. Nothing wrong!

Hearing the affirmative words, Matthew Scott relieved a little,“Good. You made amends for your fault. Send the doctor immediately when he arrives here.”

Meanwhile Sarah Cox outside of the door was frozen from head to toe.

A person dead…beaten dead…

“Is said to be killed by people……”

All of a sudden, the sentence flowed into her mind.

“No! No! It can’t be…”

The glass in her hand crumbled to the ground. Water spilled all over the floor. The door now opened and the two inside both looked at her.
