Rebecca had been searching information in the library the whole afternoon and thus lost track of time.

It was not until about 7 p.m.

when there was almost no one left in the library that she found it was already late.

Rebecca went back home immediately with a few books in her arms.

In fact, how could she regard Skyline No.1 as home? Even if it was a home, it was Adam and Linda's home, while for her, it was just a temporary shelter.

It was almost 7.30 p.m. when Rebecca got to the the apartment in Skyline No.1 from the library.

She entered the password and opened the door.

What greeted her was nothing but darkness, and only the huge TV screen hanging on the wall was on.

"Rebecca, you're back!"

Linda's voice rang out abruptly, resounding through the whole dim space.

Rebecca followed the voice and looked over, only to see Adam holding Linda in his arms.

The two were lolling together on the sofa, watching a movie.

It was a foreign love story.How romantic!

"Yes, I'm back"

Rebecca responded faintly and walked in, wanting to change her shoes in the hallway.

However, Rebecca opened the shoe cabinet and found that her slippers were nowhere to be seen.

She remembered that there were two pairs in the morning, one women's and one men's.

Well, the women's pair belonged to Linda.

It seemed that Rebecca was overthinking.

"Adam, since Rebecca is back, let's have dinner.I'm hungry:"

While Rebecca was rummaging around in the shoe cabinet for her slippers, Linda said in a soft and coquettish voice.

"You're hungry? You just ate." Adam responded.

Rebecca didn't dare to see the source of the voice, but she could hear the flirtation and teasing in his tone.

"Stop being so naughty! Rebecca is here!" Rebecca smiled.

Although she was still a virgin, she was not stupid! Rebecca believed that Adam and Linda must have had sex right before she came back.

Rebecca was glad that she hadn't come back earlier.

"Rebecca."

Suddenly, Adam called her name.

"Yes."

Only then did Rebecca look up at Adam.Adam's dark eyes were twinkling like stars against the dim light.

"Go cook."

The man ordered briefly.Rebecca was stunned.

"Don't tell me you can't cook"

The man blurted out.

Rebecca replied nonchalantly, no trace of disappointment or indignation heard in her tone, "I can."

"Then go cook now.”

"Oh, okay."

Rebecca agreed mechanically.

She didn't bother changing the shoes, put the books in her arms down on the cabinet in the hallway and walked towards the kitchen in her canvas shoes.

There was no need to ask where the kitchen was because Rebecca had learned it this morning when she came.

"So you can cook, Rebecca.Will it take long?"

Linda's voice came from behind.

Adam drew Linda closer and kissed her on the forehead.

"Just wait and you'll know:"

"Haha..."

Somehow, Linda's merry laughter came from behind Rebecca.

Rebecca didn't want to imagine what was going on, nor did she want to watch them, and she went straight to the kitchen.

It was an open-style kitchen.

Once she came to the kitchen, Rebecca pulled open the large fridge with double door.

The fridge was full.

There were fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, eggs, and everything she needed.

They should have been prepared by Mr.Williams this morning.

In fact, Rebecca was hungry too, so she started to cook right away.

"Rebecca, do you want me to help you?"

Just as Rebecca was preparing a tiger grouper, a sweet voice rang out.

"Don't bother.” Rebecca answered faintly without looking back.

"Well, if you need help, tell me." Linda offered.

Rebecca stopped what she was doing, looked up and turned around, only to see the man standing behind Linda.
