Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 222

When looking at Adam Williams who was calm, Rebecca Smith took a deep breath and bottled up all emotions, and said calmly, "You go downstairs first. I'll get up and change."

"Your clothes were washed two days ago and are hung in the cloakroom. Change your clothes and I'll wait for you outside." Adam Williams gently said and strode out.

Rebecca looked at him until he went out and closed the door. She closed her eyes again to take a deep breath and walked to the cloakroom after getting out of bed.

Julia Scott prepared various dishes and especially the nutritious soup for Rebecca. When they had dinner, Julia was extremely attentive to Rebecca and kept picking up food for her.

"Mom, I'll help Rebecca." Adam quickly stopped Julia when noticing that Rebecca had to eat all the food his mother pick for her.

Julia looked at Adam and stopped when she was about to pick more food for Rebecca. Then she withdrew her hand and sat down with a smile. "Well, Rebecca, help yourself. Adam will pick the food for you. You've lost a lot of weight in a year abroad. You have to eat more and take good care of yourself. Then, you can have a few more children with Adam. Now, I'm looking forward to my grandson!"

Rebecca smilingly looked at Julia and continued to eat without saying any words.

She didn't know why Julia had changed her attitude towards her and felt uncomfortable.

After the dinner, Arthur Williams called Rebecca alone and asked her to accompany him to take a walk in the garden.

New York, a coastal city was in the subtropical zone. Even if it was already mid-November, people just felt slightly cold on windy nights.

"Rebecca, was everything going well when you studied in Paris?" Walking towards the garden, Arthur Williams looked at Rebecca walking behind and asked her kindly.

Rebecca smilingly nodded and replied, "Well, everything is going well."

"Yes." Williams nodded approvingly and smiled. "You're so capable and outstanding. It's natural for everything to go well."

"Thank you, dad."
