Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 25

After wiping Linda's blood off the floor, Rebecca continued to cook.

This time, it took her nearly 70 minutes to cook four dishes and a soup.

She ate some alone quietly.

Then she put two sets of plates, forks, and knives on the table, placing them neatly with the dishes.

As she was about to go back to her room, the door of the apartment opened with a click.

Rebecca looked over.

It was Adam who came back with Linda in his arms.

Linda huddled in Adam's arms, seeming to have fallen asleep.

Rebecca stood there and watched.

She did not move or speak.

Adam walked straight past her with Linda in his arms.

He went upstairs as if he had not seen her at all, or had simply looked right through her.

Seeing him carry Linda upstairs calmly, Rebecca lowered her head and smiled.

Then, she continued to walk to her room.

"Stop!"

Just as she was about to arrive at her room, a deep, cold, and steely voice came from behind.

Rebecca shuddered and stopped in her tracks.

She turned around and saw Adam walking downstairs like a cheetah.

He went straight to the restaurant.

Then, without looking back, he called Rebecca, "Rebecca, come here!"

Rebecca obediently walked over.

Just as Rebecca came closer, Adam stretched out his long arms and swept all the dishes and tableware to the ground.

The high-quality porcelain was instantly broken at Rebecca's feet.

Rebecca closed her eyes, her brows trembling uncontrollably.

"What did you say? Do you still remember?"

The next second, Rebecca felt a more dangerous vibe.

When she suddenly opened her eyes, a large palm had grabbed her neck.

She was pushed against the wall and her back slammed against the cold tiles of the wall.

Looking at Adam, who seemed to be going to tear her apart, Rebecca was really scared.

Her face was pale, and tears couldn't help but well up in her eyes.

She was terrified! She had said that she would never hurt Linda again.

Otherwise, she would beg Arthur to let Adam divorce her.

But if she told Adam that Linda reached out her hand herself and that she had never thought of cutting Linda's hand, let alone letting her bleed, would he believe it? He wouldn't be like this if he had the slightest faith in her.

"I said that I would never hurt Linda."

After thinking about it, Rebecca still decided to give it a try.

What if Adam believed her? Adam tightened his grip and said, "And what did you do?"

Rebecca stared at him, finding it difficult to breathe, but she didn't struggle at all.
