"Okay, I'll go back to the mansion." Without any hesitation, Rebecca hung up the phone. Then she went out, took a taxi, and went back to the Williams family's mansion.

It was an hour's drive from the Silver Ridge Residence to the Williams family's mansion. When she arrived, everyone was waiting for her.

"Dad, mom." Walking into the main building, she saw Arthur and Julia sitting in the hall. Adam was also there. He was looking at her blankly. However, Rebecca did not look at him. She greeted Arthur and Julia politely.

Adam looked at her with a meaningful look, but he said nothing. He walked towards the dining room with her.

Everyone was very quiet at the dinner and Adam kept putting food into her bowl as usual. Rebecca politely said "Thank you" and ate all the food he put in.

After dinner, Arthur asked Rebecca to come to his study with Adam.

"What's going on between you two recently?" He looked at Rebecca and Adam and asked directly.

Rebecca looked at Arthur. Since he put everything on the table, she didn't have to hide it anymore. So, she said directly, "Dad, Adam and I are going to divorce."

Adam looked at her but didn't say a word.

Arthur gazed at Rebecca for a while, then asked Adam in a snap, "Adam, is that what you want to do?"

"Not, it's not" Adam shook his head and answered bluntly.

Rebecca tilted her head and looked at Adam. Suddenly she felt a little funny.

However, she did not say anything but sneered in her heart.

Arthur was quite satisfied with Adam's answer. As long as Adam didn't want to divorce, things would be very easy. Rebecca had no family background, so there was nothing she could do about it. Arthur could handle the situation on his own.
