They walked to the parking lot and got into the car one after another.

Samuel also got in the car.

Just as they were about to go to City Vineyard, Rebecca stood by the car door and suddenly said to Samuel.

"What's wrong? Rebecca.'’ Samuel poked his head out of the car, looked at her, and asked fatherly.

Samuel was nearly fifty years old.He liked Rebecca much.

"Professor Talty, I have something else to do.I won't accompany you to dinner tonight"

Rebecca had been Samuel's student for more than a year and knew Samuel well.

There was no need for her to beat around the bush when she talked to him.

So, looking at Samuel, Rebecca said directly.

Samuel looked at Rebecca and asked, "Really? It's rare that Adam from the Matthey Group is here tonight.You two are young.There will be a lot of common topics between you two.'’ Rebecca smiled.

"Maybe next time!"

Although he wanted Rebecca to go, he couldn't force Rebecca as she didn't want to go.So, he nodded.

"Okay, next time!"

"Thank you.Professor, I'll send you my new thesis on Monday."

"Okay.Be careful on your way back home."

"Okay."

Rebecca nodded, took two steps back, and waved at Samuel.Samuel nodded, then closed the door and let the driver drive.

Rebecca stood there still and looked at Samuel's car which slowly went away.

In a black Bentley not far away, Adam saw that Samuel's car went away, but Rebecca stood there still and had no intention of getting in the car and went to City Vineyard.

His face became sullen.

A trace of uncontrollable anger surged in his dark eyes.

His phone kept vibrating in his pocket, but he had no intention of answering it.

"Mr.Williams, the Green Mountain Project..."

In the passenger seat, the assistant received an email.

He turned to look at Adam in the back seat and wanted to ask for his opinion.

But when he saw the sullen expression on Adam's handsome face, he immediately stopped saying.

He didn't know what was going on with Adam this afternoon.

Adam was like a child today as he was capricious.

The assistant felt that things were uncertain and inexplicable and didn't know what happened on earth.

Adam took the iPad and read.

Originally, he was sullen.

After reading the content on the iPad, he became more sullen.

He didn't finish checking the Green Mountain Project budget at all.

He was only halfway through it but he threw the iPad aside and said in a deep and cold voice, "Redo it! I want new and accurate budget data at Monday morning's meeting.If not, tell them all to get lost."
