They got in the car and Mark drove away, and then Rebecca looked up at the sky and took a deep breath.

The weather today was really good.

The sky was cloudless and deep-blue.

After taking a deep breath, she turned to walk into the room, but her eyes met with Adam's.

He was standing at the door with his hands in his pockets, staring at her expressionlessly.

Rebecca glanced at him but quickly looked away from him without any emotion, and then walked into the house.

Rebecca's phone vibrated in her pocket.

She stopped and took out her phone.

It was her teacher, Samuel calling, and she immediately answered the call.

"Good morning, Mr.Talty."

"Good morning, Rebecca.I didn't wake you up, did I?"

Rebecca smiled, "No."

"Well, I'm going on a business trip today, but the student who was supposed to go with me has an important interview.I wonder if you can go with me.Are you busy? You don't have to worry about your lessons.You can have extra lessons when we get back." Samuel asked.

Mr.Talty only had one student a school year.

Rebecca was in her second year of grad school, and Mr.Talty had another student in his third year of grad school, who couldn't go with him.

Rebecca held her phone and asked after thinking for a while, "Mr.Talty, when could we come back?"

"It's a three-day business trip.We'll leave this morning and come back at noon on Wednesday.If you can go with me, pack up and come to the airport now.I'll get someone to book the ticket for you."

Noticing Smith's hesitation, Samuel persuaded her.Rebecca and Adam looked at each other.

She had thought that she should ask for his opinion before giving Mr.Talty the answer, but somehow she didn't want to do that.

She immediately agreed, "Okay, Mr.Talty, I'll pack up and go to the airport now.”

"Okay, I'll wait for you at the airport"

"Yes."

After hanging up the phone, Rebecca walked straight into the house.

Adam was still standing still and looking at Rebecca.

When Rebecca walked past him, she paused.

She was hesitating whether to tell him that she was going on a business trip with her professor.
