Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 75

It was only eight o'clock in the evening, the real night life in Wonderland Club had not started yet.

Rebecca was sitting in the lobby bar alone. The waiter came over and asked her what she wanted.

It was inevitable for her to order something in such a place, so she ordered a cocktail, low alcohol.

The cocktail was served, and she took two sips. Then, she saw people gradually flock in. Someone saw her sitting alone in the corner and intended to accost her.

Rebecca was young and gorgeous with a good figure. Even if she did not put on any makeup at all and looked cold, her calm and restrained temperament revealed the sexual appeal that was rarely seen in women, so definitely she was especially attractive.

However, all the men who wanted to talk to her were stopped by the lobby manager of the club. Only women were allowed to talk to Rebecca.

But normally, a woman would not be so eager to talk to another woman. Only those who were paid to work for men would approach and chat with Rebecca enthusiastically.

"Hey, beauty, you are alone?" Just as Rebecca was drinking and staring blankly at a certain place, emptying her mind, an attractive voice sounded in her ear.

Rebecca swiveled and saw a young, elegant woman dressed in a sexy but not revealing outfit. She seemed to be older than Rebecca, but no more than thirty years old.

"Do you mind if I sit down and have a drink with you?" Seeing Rebecca look up at her, the woman asked with a gentle smile.

Rebecca looked at the woman and smiled. "Please yourself!"

The woman naturally sat down after hearing Rebecca's answer.

The first thing she did when she sat down was to clink Rebecca's glass and drink half of it herself.

"You look so beautiful. You can't come here alone, can you?" After half a glass of wine, the woman asked Rebecca with a smile.

Rebecca really had nothing to do. She picked up her cocktail, took a sip, and said calmly, "Alone."

"I happen to be alone too. It seems that we can drink together tonight!" The woman smiled happily and clinked Rebecca's glass again. She drank the remaining half of the glass, then called the waiter directly and ordered a whole bottle of Martel.

After the wine was served, the woman poured herself a glass, and then said to herself, "Beautiful ladies have more trouble than average people. You are not only beautiful but also look especially cool. A woman like you must have more trouble than me. Tell me, why do you come to such a place alone?"

Rebecca glanced at the woman, smiled, and did not answer. Instead, she raised her glass and took a sip. Unconsciously, she drank half a glass of cocktail.

"Nothing. I'm just waiting for someone here."

"Waiting for someone?!" The woman was surprised and then smiled. "Who are you waiting for? Boyfriend or someone else?"

Rebecca looked at the woman in front of her. Somehow, she gave a self-mocking smile with the corner of her mouth slightly turned up and then replied frankly, "My husband."

"Husband?!" The woman who was tossing her head to drink almost spat out a mouthful of wine. Looking at Rebecca in front of her, she looked as if she had seen a monster in an instant. "You are not crazy, are you? Your husband is having fun here, but you are sitting quietly in the corner waiting for him. Are you kidding me?"
