As long as you are all right Standing in front of Olive Garden, Nina looked forlorn.She had nowhere to go but home.

Nina would leave the alley and take a taxi back home.She couldn't stay out all night.Her unborn child's safety was more important than anyone or anything.

The alley was oddly quiet, which scared Nina.She continued at a hurried pace.

But even though she was careful, danger came without warning.

Just when Nina was only a few feet away from the entrance of the alley, a few sketchy men emerged from the darkness.

The men had seen her earlier and knew that she was not alone.

Nina could tell that these men were up to no good and moved away from them before attempting to make a run for it.

"Hey, hey, where are you going so fast, beautiful?"

One of the men said as he blocked Nina's way.He grinned evilly before greeting several other companions.

Nina took a step back, and within seconds, she was surrounded by six other men.

"What do you want?" Nina asked.

She felt her heart pounding as she feared that the men meant to harm her.

Initially, the man who stopped her wanted to strike up a conversation, but when he got closer to Nina, he saw her pregnant belly and became disappointed.

"Just my luck, I end up tracking down a pregnant woman," he complained.

Then, he stretched out his hands toward Nina.

"Since you are not going to be any fun tonight, you should compensate me for wasting my time."

Nina frowned as she realized that the man was upset that he could not sexually assault her and now he decided to rob her.

"Fine.Take my money and leave me alone," Nina said.

She didn't want to fight or anger this man for the sake of her unborn child.

Nina immediately pulled out her wallet and offered him the cash she had on her as she had left her credit and debit cards at home.The man took the money from her and looked at it.

Again, he looked disappointed.

"That's it? That's all you had on you?" he questioned.

The man frowned and took a closer look at Nina.He noticed the necklace she was wearing, and it looked like it was a lot of money.

The man smiled greedily and reached for the necklace.

Not knowing what the man's intentions were, Nina pushed the man away and ran as she did not want him to touch her.

"Get her! Don't let her get away!"

Hearing the yelling and the sound of footsteps behind her, Nina panicked.She ran desperately out of her innate desire to protect her baby.

Because she was pregnant, her speed and endurance were greatly reduced, and several gang members caught up to her.
