Chapter 837 The scheming behind
Hearing Sylvia’s pleas, Harley Timothy realized something was wrong.
He remembered that he pushed her unconsciously just now. Could it be this move that caused trouble?
The moment he opened the door, Harley Timothy saw Sylvia leaning against the wall, clutching her stomach.
“What’s the matter with you?” he asked nonchalantly.
Sylvia frowned in pain, one hand on her belly, the other reaching for Harley Timothy.
“Please help me.I suddenly feel a pain in my stomach…”
Sylvia’s voice was weak, and she slid down to the wall to the floor
Harley thought something had really happened to her, and quickly went up to support her.
Although he hated Sylvia, he couldn’t just leave her on the floor in pain.
Feeling the warmth from Harley’s palm, Sylvia secretly rejoiced.
It was the first time she had felt tenderness from Harley since she moved into his home ten days ago.
“Thank you,” Sylvia thanked softly, her head tilted on the shoulders of Harley.
Soon Harley helped Sylvia to the bedroom to rest, gazing at her weak, and coldly suggested, “Since your stomach is uncomfortable, just lie on the bed.”
He didn’t even have the thought of taking Sylvia to the hospital.
In Harley’s mind, this woman was no longer in his sphere of care, and not even a child could bind him.
“I see, you don’t have to worry about me.’
Sylvia gave a bleak smile and hummed twice, “Harley, you’d better go downstairs to eat, Mrs. Timothy is waiting for you.”
“I’m not worried about you, and you don’t need to worry about my affairs.”
After he finished speaking, he left Sylvia’s bedroom, planning to eat a little before going back to sleep.
Nina’s whereabouts were still unknown and Harley felt depressed as if he had nothing to live for.
Arriving at the kitchen, Harley was about to sit down when he saw ‘s mother put down the fork.
“Where is Sylvia? Why did you come downstairs alone?” Carlee asked suspiciously.
“She’s lying in the bedroom with a stomachache.” Harley seemed to be talking about something that had nothing to do with him.
Hearing this, Carlee couldn’t sit still.
“You’re too cold-blooded, aren’t you? Sylvia isn’t feeling well, and you still have the heart to eat dinner?”
Carlee scolded and hurried up the stairs.
But she was halfway up the stairs and suddenly turned to look at Harley sitting in the dining room.
