“What’s going on with our great-grandfather? Dustin is not even related to our family. How can he treat him better than us?”
A few members of the Yeager family stood on the side awkwardly while watching Dustin and the others chatting happily.
Damien whispered in dissatisfaction. They could not bear the sight of this, and they felt very resentful.
“Stop talking!” Warren snapped.
“Don’t worry, he won’t remain so arrogant for long. Dad favors him. So? In this society, ability speaks louder than anything else,” Zack said in a low voice. “A man who lives off an inheritance without a proper job… even if he has some luck and inheritance, he’ll squander it away in no time. Then, he’ll struggle to get by. Dad will see the truth in time.
“Besides, who knows how long Dad can stay conscious? Do you really think that kid can make Dad young again? I don’t believe in such an absurd thing.
“Dad is already very old. We should just go along with this for now. They’re lucky they get to hang around the Yeager family for a while.”
They agreed with Zack. It was exactly what they were thinking.
They believed that Dustin and Patricia were just enjoying a temporary moment of glory. They just needed to put up an act until they faced reality in the near future.
Half an hour passed, and they continued chatting. The kitchen staff from the Yeager family came over to ask if they could start serving the food.
But the most important guest still had not shown up.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Pierce. May I ask if the CEO is delayed on the way?” Zack had to interrupt them.
“No. Our CEO has already arrived. He’s in the villa now,” Adrian said with a faint smile.
“He arrived?” The Yeager family members looked confused. They could not help but look around, but they did not see any unfamiliar faces.
“But why haven’t we seen him yet?”
“The CEO has indeed been here for a while. Just because you didn’t see him doesn’t mean he isn’t here,” Adrian said confidently.
The Yeager family members were even more confused. They did not understand what he was saying.
Why did he make it sound so mystical?
“Mr. Pierce, are you saying that the CEO is among us?” Zack asked jokingly.
“That’s not impossible.” Adrian’s smile was cryptic.
“Our CEO is rather mysterious, and he likes to fool around. You don’t have to pay too much attention to him. Let’s go ahead with the banquet. Who knows? Maybe he will suddenly show up when he’s had his fun.”
“What?” The Yeager family members looked at each other at a loss.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
