She thought Harmony would be as docile as she used to be. But she’s picked up a trick or two over the years. Samantha wouldn’t give up just like that, however. She would still try to approach Ezekiel. Once she made that man hers, she would brag to Harmony.
After dinner, Harmony and Ezekiel had a stroll around. Samantha’s spies followed them. They would inform Samantha once Ezekiel was alone.
Harmony’s phone rang. It was Sera, so she took the call. “Hey, Sera.”
“Someone took a photo of you going to the hotel. The media’s making up stories now. You’re with Mr. Weiss, aren’t you?”
Harmony was surprised. “Which news outlet posted that?”
“Not sure. They followed you since you left home all the way to the Manson Hotel. Why didn’t you disguise yourself before you came out?”
Harmony frowned. She wasn’t that famous. The media wouldn’t stake out at her place. Then she realized that Samantha had shown up here all of a sudden. Obviously, Samantha followed her. She’s like a shark. A little drop of profit, and she follows it everywhere. She had seen scandals about Samantha online before. There was only one creed she followed: hound all the rich people.
Now, she was sure Samantha came for Ezekiel. First, she rented the place beside Harmony’s, and now she followed Harmony. And as if that’s not enough, she posted the story online. The sliver of friendship she had for Samantha was gone. She would never let a scheming snake hide around her. “Sera, see if you can deal with this. If you can’t, it’s alright. I don’t have to hide the fact I’m dating Ezekiel,” said Harmony.
“Ooh, calling him by his first name.” Sera chuckled.
Harmony blushed. “Can’t call him Mr. Weiss all the time.”
“I know. Broke a certain base now, so you’re changing how you call him.” Sera smiled.
