That night, I finally got the full story from Sasha. 

It turned out that Yvonne discovered she was pregnant during a medical examination, and she initially wanted to have an abortion. However, Nash adamantly disagreed and insisted she keep the baby. 

In my previous life, Yvonne had died due to an improperly performed abortion in an unlicensed clinic, so Nash was determined not to let that happen again. Through persuasion and argument, Yvonne reluctantly agreed to keep the child. However, she was unsatisfied with Nash being kicked out of the house and demanded that he return to request financial support. 

Nash refused, so she resorted to ordering luxury goods on his family’s account. When Mrs. Xander found out about this, she was so upset and heartbroken. 

Yvonne even insisted that Mrs. Xander and Mr. Xander arrange a wedding for her, wanting to join the Xander family with the child openly. Naturally, Mr. Xander and Mrs. Xander stronglysed this marriage, resulting in a tense standoff between Nash and his parents. 

As the school year began, I packed my bags and headed to my dream university. Finally, I was completely free from Nash and Yvonne. 

During my college years, my mom occasionally gossiped with me about Nash and Yvonne. He gave up going to college and declined Mr. Xander’s proposal for him to study abroad. Instead, he took on the responsibilities of a man, taking care of Yvonne and her unborn child. I heard they had a wedding, but Mr. Xander and Mrs. Xander didn’t attend. 

Neither of them had reached the legal age to get married, so they couldn’t obtain a marriage certificate. Nash and Yvonne moved to a different place and rented a modest home. Nash found a job teaching children how to paint at an art school. Although his hand was injured, teaching children to draw was not. too challenging, and he could handle it. 

He struggled to make ends meet for their small family, but they led a simple and happy life. Mr. Xander and Mrs. Xander had completely given up on their son, and they no longer paid attention to him. Mrs. Xander had informed all the luxury stores not to allow Yvonne to misuse the Xander family name. 

It seemed that this time, without my intervention, Nash’s life was going well. 

The school had gathered nearly all the top scorers in the country, and I was no longer the most outstanding student. 

I worked even harder, participating in various internships and extracurricular activities to broaden my horizons and knowledge. I won numerous awards, including national scholarships and prizes from various competitions, and more…
