Chapter 1 I'm Not Getting a Divorce! 

"How is the situation?" 

"Mrs. Ramsey's wound is a little deep, but the bleeding has been stopped. There is no serious injury!" 

"Does she need to be sent to the hospital?" 

"Not yet. Don't worry, let her get some rest..." 

The sound of the conversation outside the door gradually brought back Natalie's consciousness. She tried to move. The sharp pain from her side waist made her whole nerves tremble. 

She was completely awake. 

With a "click", the door was pushed open. 

Then came the sound of a wheelchair running over the floor. 

Someone came to her bedside. 

Natalie sat up slowly, leaning against the head of the bed, looking at the man in the wheelchair in front of her in a confused way. 

He had defined facial features and was handsome. His lips were tight, and he looked at her calmly. There was no emotion on his face. 

The dim light in the room made his jawline clear. 

Kendrick Ramsey? 

Her legal husband? 

A memory that did not belong to her crossed her mind. 

Natalie's pupils dilated instantly. 

"I will not pursue the matter of Orion anymore," After a while, the man spoke slowly, his voice was cold, but it was also clear and pleasant. "This is the divorce agreement," He put a stack of documents on the cabinet beside the bed, and his voice was calm, "I have signed it." 

Natalie was stunned! 

Was she getting divorced? 

Natalie shook her head, closed her eyes, and realized that she was transported to a book when she opened her eyes again. 

In a book about a bossy man recommended by her friend, she said that the disabled and scheming man must be her ideal type. 

The man in front of her was Kendrick, a 26-year-old male supporting role and brother of Maggie, the leading character. Ken was a business tycoon. He was permanently disabled due to an accident in his childhood and could only move in a wheelchair. 

She became his early dead wife, a woman who ran away with her first love and finally died in a car accident. She was a humiliation to the Ramsey family. 

The original role was an illegitimate daughter, who was married by her family. Her sisters didn't want to marry the disabled man, so they pushed her out to marry him. 

But she loved her first love in her heart. 

It was Orion, who was just mentioned. 

The current plot was that Orion stabbed Kendrick's guys with a knife and he should be sent to jail, but the original role forced Kendrick to release him, and she stabbed herself, saying that they were even.

"Wait!" Natalie sat up straight, but her wound was torn by accident. She gasped in pain, stared at his eyes, bit her lips, and said, "Honey, I'm not getting a divorce!" 

Kendrick frowned slightly. 

Getting divorced and going abroad with Orion,wasn't that what she has been looking forward to? 

Besides, what did she call him? 

Honey? 

"About Orion, I'll leave it to the law, he'll get what he deserves," she added. 

Kendrick squinted, and his eyes fell on her hands as she squeezed the corners of the quilt. 

More than ten hours ago, she confronted him with a knife and forced him to release the man.

Was it to avoid divorce?
