Kendrick cupped her chin in his hands.

Natalie could break free easily because he wasn't doing it very hard.

She was so excited that she exclaimed while pointing at him, "Your ears are so sensitive! All I did was blow gently!"

"Let me see your ears," Natalie said as she approached him.

Kendrick became terrified and pushed her face away.

"Does this woman even know how to keep her distance from people? Is she even aware of what she's doing?" He thought to himself.

He didn't push her hard because he was afraid of hurting her. She stepped away from him and grabbed his hand.

"Do you blush easily?" she asked, raising her face to his.

Kendrick held back from the extreme, but she kept pushing the envelope as if she didn't know how to behave in front of him.

Natalie couldn't help but smile at the sight of his handsome face.

Kendrick had always been aloof and refused to communicate with anyone.

He was even more sensible and strong when making important decisions, which was why he impressed many people.

She trembled and then rolled off Kendrick's bed.

Kendrick was surprised by how silly she was.

With a forward lean, he extended his hand to hold hers.

Natalie reached for his hand and pushed herself up from the floor.

The fall had caused her a lot of pain.

She clenched her jaw and appeared distressed.

Kendrick was experiencing similar feelings of pain. He wanted to lecture her when he picked her up, but he kept quiet.

He appeared to be dead set on Maggie's acting career.

"Why did you follow her stupid behavior?" He gave her an unexpected glance and then asked.

Natalie refrained from making any kind of argumentative response. She nodded her head and said, "Well. I get it."

Knowing she would soon forget about it, Kendrick was furious with her.

He was annoyed that she accidentally hurt herself, but he knew he couldn't treat her harshly.

While dabbing the ointment on with a cotton swab, he whispered, "It will be fine in a few days. Please have some patience."

Natalie gave a confident nod.

She soon grabbed the corner of his shirt.

Natalie looked up and asked, "Do you really want her to stop acting?"

Kendrick frowned, showing no emotion at all.

Devastated, Natalie lamented, "We'll lose a talented actress."

"Her childhood dream was to be an actress. She began her acting career at age six and also maintained a strict academic schedule. You were so happy when she got into the film and television academy, weren't you? You secretly rented out every theater in town for the premiere of her first film."

Natalie said gently, "She doesn't have any outstanding achievements right now. But, those setbacks and difficulties may help her mature quickly. I understand you are concerned that she will be treated unfairly in the entertainment industry, so you want her to return home and live a happy life. I'm glad you can protect her, but people have to learn to grow up on their own after all."

Kendrick looked at her with concern.

Natalie sighed quietly to herself.

As she watched the story unfold, she couldn't help but wonder if her presence had altered its course.

Maggie put in a lot of work to get into film school and become an actress. She was the kind of child who would go to acting classes even when she was sick with a high fever on a snowy day.

Natalie thought every kid should be praised for their efforts if they were progressing toward their goals.

Kendrick said firmly, "However, while your words may sway Grandpa, they won't change my mind. It's useless."

He refused to be convinced by her.

Natalie frowned and said, "But I've always suspected that I'm the reason she can't be an actress. I'm not sure why I'm having these strange thoughts."
