“You make it up!” The senior officer said angrily.

Emma instantly lost her confidence, bit her lips and listen with a sad face.

Officer Brown continued to roar in the telephone, “What did you and Joey do last night?!”

“No...nothing.” Emma was still quibbling.

Officer Brown’s next sentence thoroughly made Emma give up struggling.

Officer Brown roared in the telephone, “If you didn’t do anything, why your father called me and asked to keep an eye on you?!”

Few people knew that Emma had such a tough grandfather.

The cry of Nunu came from the second floor to the first floor.

Until Nanny Maggie rushed in, Nunu was saved.

After ‘conquering’ Nunu, Emma was not sleepy anymore.

She got up, washed and changed her clothes.

In the living room on the first floor, there were visitor.

When Emma went downstairs in her slippers, she saw Maggie refilling some tea for the visitor.

Maggie was in the front, so Emma could not see who the visitor was.

As Emma was recalling where she had seen it, suddenly she stepped on nothing and directly sat in the center of the stairs.

The man in the living room, disturbed by the noise on the stairs, looked up.

Emma climbed up the stairs as fast as she could, holding on to the handrail, and quickly turned and ran to the second floor.

She said silently, “Damn it! Isn't it just a car window? Why he is here?”

Sean saw that she was in panic.

Before she got into the bedroom, Emma saw Officer Brown talked with Maggie, but she heard nothing and directly closed the door.

Her heart was beating violently and she was so worried.

From her grandfather's performance last night, Simon should have not told him that she and Joey hit his car.

Otherwise, her grandfather would not be so easily coaxed by her.
