Sienna lightly pursed her lips and said, "No need for that. I just feel that your mother-in-law is quite something; she genuinely loves you!"
"Don't worry, your mother-in-law will be the same."
"Or should I give it a try? Let Rex beat me up, and then you tell my mother-in-law. What do you think?"
"Have you heard the story of the boy who cried wolf?" Camille asked indifferently, dispelling Sienna's idea.
Sienna nodded obediently and said, "Alright, I get it."
The two continued shopping. When passing by a custom wedding dress shop, Sienna suddenly asked, "When do you plan to have your wedding? With so much going on recently, and your grandfather still in the hospital, even though your mother-in-law has been preparing for this, she can't handle it alone. You also have no time. I guess we should postpone it. How about you and Rex? What are your thoughts? You can't possibly wait until after we're done with our wedding, right?"
Camille looked at Sienna. She genuinely believed that Sienna and Rex got married for love, and she hoped they would find time amidst their busy schedules to celebrate their love. Waiting too long might cause the passion to fade. However, Camille didn't voice these thoughts. She wasn't sure if her perspective was right, so she needed time to sort out her feelings. Perhaps, when her own wedding with Ayan approached, she would start looking forward to it.
After shopping with Sienna, the two headed to the company. Together, they distributed the gifts to everyone. The recipients were ecstatic, and Sienna and Camille received a lot of compliments.
Camille didn't want to take credit. She said, "Don't praise me. These gifts are from her. I just helped pick them out. If you want to thank someone, thank her. Show your enthusiasm to her."
Getting Camille's hint, everyone showered Sienna with compliments. Some more daring ones couldn't help but give her a hug. Of course, it was limited to the female colleagues. The male colleagues stood in their places, applauding to express their gratitude. Crossing any boundaries tonight would likely make them disappear from Hance City forever.
There was a quiet and serious woman in the finance department. She seldom spoke, but she was exceptionally diligent. She was genuinely sincere to Camille and naturally to Sienna as well. In this situation, she was moved and didn't know what to say. She finally uttered, "Miss King, I don't know how to thank you. How about I introduce my brother to you? He's a graduate student, single, and very devoted. I'm sure he will be loyal to you."
After the girl spoke, everyone exchanged glances. Camille was the first to react. She walked over to the girl, raised her hand, and gently embraced her shoulders. She chuckled softly, "What are you saying? Were you startled by the surprise? She's already married. Are you planning to make your brother commit a crime?"
Camille's reminder made the girl realize her blunder. She tried to explain but didn't know what to say.
Everyone knew the girl and understood her personality, so they just smiled and didn't say much.
Sienna also joined the laughter, saying, "Thank you for your kindness. Your brother must be excellent. However, I got married young, and if I ever get divorced, I'll be sure to ask you for an introduction, okay?"
The girl was embarrassed, but Sienna didn't mind at all. She even thought there was nothing to be embarrassed about. Sienna hugged the girl and said, "Don't be embarrassed. We're all on the same boat. I appreciate your gesture, so don't be nervous. Everyone knows your character; there's no need to feel awkward, okay?"
Sienna and Camille patiently reassured the girl, who soon felt more at ease. The atmosphere became more harmonious and comfortable.
