My Ex-husband Begs Me Back (Ayan and Camille) novel Chapter 1587

Chapter 1587: Avoidance

Camille no longer showed any tact or courtesy towards Preston; she simply didn't want to pay him much attention anymore.

There was no hint of politeness in Camille's tone when she spoke to Preston, and there was even a special coldness in her voice. Her rhetorical question left Preston speechless.

The atmosphere remained silent for a brief moment. Seeing this, Camille's voice rang out again, "If there's nothing else to say, then I'm hanging up."

"Camille!!!" Preston immediately shouted, "Camille, don't try to avoid the conversation I want to have with you in this way. You're only deceiving yourself. Do you really think you can escape from certain things by doing this?"

Camille remained silent, pursing her lips, indicating that she had no intention of speaking.

Preston continued, "Camille, I don't believe you haven't seen the photos I sent you. What are you pretending to be now? Are you really willing to abandon your self-esteem just for the love of a man? I have lost all respect for you!"

Although Camille had already guessed that the photos were sent by Preston, because he hadn't taken any other actions during this period, she also questioned herself if she had figured out something.

Preston's words confirmed her suspicions, and she maintained her silence, pursing her lips. Preston's voice continued in her ears, criticizing Camille for losing herself for the love of Ayan.

However, Camille didn't care at all about his words. She remained cold and silent, with no intention of speaking.

Preston felt that she was simply avoiding the situation.

Preston said, "Camille, just because something happened between Daisy and Ayan doesn't mean it didn't happen. You've seen how chaotic Daisy's personal life is. So, if she's attracted to Ayan, do you really think nothing will happen? Or do you believe Ayan won't waver in the face of a woman?"

"You've said so much just to make me resent and be angry with Ayan, right? If I really did what you wanted, wouldn't you have succeeded? Preston, you manipulated my words during our last phone call, edited and exaggerated them, and posted them online to create conflicts between us. What are you trying to do now?"

Camille took a silent deep breath. She really didn't want to waste another word on Preston.

But this person had the ability to be shameless beyond comparison. He was relentless and wouldn't give up until he achieved his goal.

He kept babbling incessantly, expressing ideas that made people want to punch him directly.

But Camille endured it. He spoke, she listened, and it went in one ear and out the other.

Whatever he said didn't matter.

He had a mouth, and whether he said it this time or the next, he would continue to say it. That's just how he was-repeating his words over and over again.

Camille had already grown callous from listening to him.

Actually, Camille had thought about changing her phone number. However, she had used it for too long, and all her friends and work contacts had that number. It wasn't worth changing it just because of Preston.

That's why she hadn't changed it all this time.

After Preston finished speaking, Camille's voice finally came through, "Have you said enough? If there's nothing else you want to continue saying, then let's end it here. I have things to do."

After finishing the call, Preston didn't wait for anything else to be said and hung up directly. He couldn't find any good words to say anyway. It was all about how Camille had no self-esteem and a series of completely unproductive remarks that Camille didn't want to hear.
