My Ex-husband Begs Me Back (Ayan and Camille) novel Chapter 567

Chapter 567 Do You Like Me

Ayan's eyebrows twitched slightly and he said lightly, "I'm okay."
But Camille didn't believe it, and she continued, "If you have something to say, just say it, huh?"
"Nothing to say, just simply ask you to watch a movie. I already bought tickets, so don't refuse me, okay?"
He gazed at Camille, and his dark eyes seemed to reveal a sense of anticipation.
Camille didn't remember how she got out of the car, and it didn't feel real until she walked into the movie theater.
He did not go to pick up the tickets, as if the tickets were taken out of his pocket. Was it bought beforehand?
The truth was that Kian was worried that Ayan didn't know how to pick up the tickets, so he did it himself and handed them to him. And he also told him the directions and some simple rules in the cinema by the way.
Of course, naturally, he wouldn't tell Camille.
When he entered the cinema, it was still ten minutes before the opening. He looked down at Camille, who was quiet beside him, "Some water?"
Camille thought about it, "We need two."
Ayan nodded: "You stand here and wait for me. I'll go get it."
Then he headed towards the counter selling water as well as various snacks.
As she watched him walk towards the crowd, Camille was still in a state of confusion. She never thought she would ever go to the movies with Ayan.
Ayan was also unaccustomed to it. He frowned at the wide variety of drinks and water on the counter, and some non-nutritious but very popular junk food next to them.
It was the first time he had seen such a scene, so the incredulity in his eyes was obvious.
Ayan was introduced by the salesgirl to themust for watching movies, popcorn.
Then the next second many people in the movie hall saw a handsome looking man holding popcorn in one hand and two bottles of water in the other walking up to a casually dressed woman.
His appearance was not exactly a secret from the outside world, so he was quickly recognized as Ayan, president of the Simpson Group, and his wife, Camille.
Many of the girls in the crowd were excitedly chattering, "Oh my God, the president of Simpson Group came to see the movie in person. Does that also mean we are watching the movie with him?"
"...."
Camille listened to the excited chatter, the expression on her face unruffled. After all, his appearance in these places is indeed worthy of the people's astonishment.
He walked up to Camille, and then it was about time to enter. The two stood in the queue area to enter the theater. And the seats Kian picked for them were in the back. Because it was still early in the day, the back seats were not crowded.
The two found their seats and sat down. Ayan handed the water in his hand to Camille, who took it: "Thank you."
The movie hadn't officially started yet, so in order not to make it too quietbetween them, Ayan asked softly, "Have you seen the movie before?"
"I've seen it." Of course she had seen it. There were probably not many young people now who hadn't seen the movie, except for a president like Ayan, right?
Ayan nodded his head and asked, "With whom? By yourself?"
"No, I watched it with Sienna. I watched a lot of movies back in college, but not as often in the last two years." She and Sienna would go to the movies as long as there was a new release and the film was good, and she had accumulated a lot of movie tickets as a souvenir.
Later, when she started a worklife, she had less time to watch movies.
She didn't know if her answer made Ayan very satisfied, but she onlysaw the corners of his thin lips with a faint smile.
After the movie officially started, the two aturally did not speak again.
The film was almost two hours long, and it was almost eight o'clock when it was finished.
When the two of them came out of the movie theater, Ayan looked at the time and said, "Are you hungry? Want to go get something to eat together?"
Camille wasn't really hungry, but she thought he wouldn't have had anything, so she agreed.
But instead of taking her to a fancy restaurant for dinner, Ayan drove around into an alley and then into an old Hance City noodle shop.
He parked the car and got down together with Camille. As if he was explaining, he said: "It is not the diner time. I do not know what to eat, so I took you here to try this noodle shop. It tastes good."
Camille nodded her head to say yes, and then the two walked into the noodle shop side by side.
It was particularly quiet inside the noodle shop, a bit like the homes of the most local Hance people. The two walked inside. A middle-aged woman greeted out. Seeing Ayan, she immediately put on a happy smile: "Why do youcome over at this time of day without telling me in advance? Or I could have made some preparations for you."
"No need to prepare anything special. I'm bringing Camille over for a casual meal. We'll just try what you've got." Ayan responded with respect.
The woman nodded her head with her eyes on Camille. They both smiled and looked at each other, and then she said, "Then go inside with Cami and sit for a while. I'll have it ready soon."
After saying that, she smiled at Camille and went to the kitchen.
Ayan led Camille into the hall and sat down, then Camille asked, "That aunt just now seems to know me too? But I don't think I've met her before, have I?"
"It's Kit's wife Janie Barnes. Maybe you met at Simpson's mansion, but you didn't remember." Ayan explained in a low voice, the tenderness between his eyebrows very obvious.
Camille then nodded in comprehension, "This noodle shop is owned by Kit's family?"
"Right. It started with Kit's father's generation, but in recent years, they have received few external visitors, only open mainly to some old customers."
Deep in the alley was not a good location for a noodle shop to attract customers, but the noodle shop in Hance City, especially in the luxury circle is very famous. The taste was very good very popular, especially the old taste of Hance City had not changed at all, so many people who were used to delicacies of every kind would miss such a taste.
Just a while later, Janie came in with two bowls of steaming beef noodles.
The aroma of beef mixed with the fragrance of noodles mixed together to arouse people's appetite. Camille, who wasn't even very hungry, swallowed.
Janie invited them to eat it while it was still hot, and then brought some more small dishes that she had made.
Camille almost finished eating all the noodles in her bowl because it was so fresh.
After putting down his chopsticks, Ayan asked, "Did you like it?"
"Well, very much."
"You can come over more often then."
"Sure."
She nodded, already planning to come back more often.
The two of them ate the noodles and then chatted with Janie for a while. Before leaving, Janie packed Camille a freshly cooked beef stew and some of her more popular side dishes to take with her.
Camille was a little embarrassed and thanked her before walking out of the courtyard with Ayan.
Camille said, "Coming empty-handed but taking so much stuff, next time Janie will probably close early if sheknows I'm coming and , right?"
Ayan smiled lightly: "No, Janie is one of our own. No need to be polite. And Janie likes you, so don't be burdened. If next time you are really embarrassed then buy some fruit."
"Okay." Camille nodded her head in response.
The two sat in the car, but Ayan did not rush to drive. Instead he turned his head to Camille in the copilot seat and asked in a low voice, "Is it a good day for you today?"
Camille froze, wondering why he was asking that.
Still, she nodded gently, "Well, it was quite enjoyable."
Ayan's dark, unfathomable eyes were still watching her, and his voice was low: "Just be happy. So is there anything you want to say to me?"
Camille's eyelashes fluttered slightly, and she pursed her lips for two seconds before saying, "Yes." She looked at the person in front of her, her eyebrows without the slightest emotion, but only asked lightly: "Did you see Cora apologized to me in the working group?"
"Well, see."
"Because I haven't responded to any of her apologies, Austin has always been following me for the past two days." She didn't say anything with length, nor did she mention the knock on the door in the middle of the night and the disgusting incident this morning, but simply asked in a low voice, "Do you think I should respond to Cora's apology?"
