The three of them had just returned to the villa. Rosalie wanted to put the little ones upstairs to bed when the doorbell suddenly rang.

Lucian and Nox thought it was Byron and Estie who went and came back, so they excitedly ran to open the door. Even Rosalie could not stop them.

After the little ones opened the door, they were a little dumbfounded when they saw the person at the door.

“Where’s Rosalie?”

Melody looked down at the two little boys with an ugly expression, her eyes were full of displeasure.

The little ones had just gotten along well with their daddy. When they suddenly faced Grandma’s undisguised disgust, there was an inevitable gap. The smile on their faces wa gradually withdrawn and replaced with a look of wariness.

Melody did not expect them to answer. After she asked, she raised her eyes and looked into the living room.

Rosalie frowned and hesitated for a moment but still made way for her to go in.

‘Anyway, Melody came alone. At most, she’ll just say some nasty things.

‘If I really want to be with Byron, I’ll have to pass this test with Melody sooner or later.’

The little ones could not help feeling a little anxious when Mommy actually let Melody in, for fear that Melody would bully their mommy like those two mean aunties.

Rosalie watched Melody take a seat on the sofa, then squatted down and looked into Lucian’s and Nox’s eyes. “Go up and rest first. Mommy and Grandma Melody have something to say.”
