My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball Chapter 1370–We Are Fine
Byron tapped on the steering wheel and said confidently, ‘TH go repair the car. It shouldn’t take long.”
Rosalie looked around them.
They were not even near the toll or any service area. No one was around, and the place looked deserted.
She could see no building nearby, not to mention a car repair workshop.
“Don’t you have a spare tire?”
Rosalie asked, hoping they were lucky.
Byron frowned and answered, “I used it a while ago and forgot to put a new one back.”
Feeling helpless, Rosalie looked at their surroundings.
No one would notice them there even if they had a car crash.
That thought made Rosalie feel uneasy.
‘You shouldn’t take any chances. I think it’s a long way from the workshop, and the tire won’t last that long. Why don’t you call the service hotline and we’ll wait here for them?” 1
She looked back and tried to advise Byron not to take the risk.
If they were together, they would at least have company.
Byron looked at the time. “You’re going to wait with me? Aren’t you in a hurry? The elderly in the nursing home need you to get there soon.”
Rosalie hesitated when Byron mentioned the elderly there, but she still made up her mind.
“It doesn’t matter. Young Master Xander and other doctors are at the nursing home. The elderly will be fine.”
Byron nodded and took out his mobile phone to call the service hotline.
The two sat quietly in the car, waiting for the tow truck to arrive.
Rosalie took out her phone and texted Xander, telling him she might be late.
It was such a long way from town that the car from the service company finally arrived after a while.
Byron had asked someone to come along, and he got into the car in front of Rosalie. It took them to the town nearby.
