My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball Chapter 1404–Rosalie’s calm heartbeat hammered again upon hearing the children’s question.
Byron’s voice sounded, and he seemed to be happy. “Do you like it? I didn’t know what to buy, and the promoter suggested I buy this. I happened to think that this necklace would suit you too.”
That gave Rosalie just enough reason to avoid looking at Byron.
Rosalie turned around and looked at the necklace through the side mirror.
The thin platinum necklace was draped over her neck, and the pendant was a simple circle with a small diamond around it. The pendant was between her collarbones, making her look elegant.
Even she was a little stunned.
Byron was behind her suddenly, and he asked again, “How is it?”
Rosalie snapped out of her astonishment and smiled at him as she turned around. “It’s beautiful, and I like it, Pre-“
She almost called him President Lawrence habitually. However, recalling their ambiguous relationship, Rosalie paused and said, “Thank you. It’s very nice of you to buy me this.”
Byron noticed she was about to address him formally and was a little disappointed, but he mentioned nothing about it.
The three little ones gathered around Rosalie and talked.
“Mommy is so pretty!”
‘The necklace really suits Mommy well! It looks so much better when Mommy has it on!”
“Mr. Byron has good taste!”
Rosalie was shy, yet she kept calm and smiled at the kids. “Mommy bought you guys presents. Haven’t you guys seen them yet? Why don’t we go and take a look at them?”
The kids were excited to see their gifts and cheered as they followed Rosalie into the villa.
The living room was lively with the little ones’ cheers as they opened the gifts with Rosalie.
Seeing the children liking the gifts so much, Rosalie was delighted.
