Noticing that Rosalie was still in a daze, Byron could not control his hand touching her cheek.

After being stunned for a few seconds, Rosalie snapped out of it and felt embarrassed.

Byron had constantly sneak attacked her when they were abroad, and Rosalie later understood what made him do that.

Rosalie glared at him upon hearing his excuse, but she could say nothing about it. All she could do was turn around as if nothing had happened and put the plates back in the cabinet.

They spent some time washing dishes. The little ones clung to Byron for some time when they came out, and he played with them.

Only when it was late at night did he get into his car and head home.

Rosalie and the kids watched him leave.

Back in the villa, Rosalie looked at Lucian and Nox, who lay in bed, and headed back to her bedroom to tuck Estelle into bed.

“Estie, is it okay if you return home with Grandpa and Grandma tomorrow?”

Lying on the bed, Rosalie mustered up her courage and tried to convince the little girl.

The smile on Estelle’s face disappeared when she heard that request. She hugged Rosalie’s arm and protested, “No! Estie wants to be with Mommy!”

Rosalie appeased the little girl’s emotion and hugged her. “Mommy also wants to be with Estie, but Grandpa and Grandma miss you. Why don’t you go and accompany them for a few days and Mommy will pick you up from their place, okay?”

At last, the little one stopped resisting after Rosalie persuaded her for quite sometime.

The following day, Rosalie drove the kids to kindergarten. When she was about to leave, Estelle grabbed onto her shirt and was reluctant to let go.

Rosalie comforted Estelle patiently for some time before Estelle finally was willing to go to the classroom.
