My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball novel Chapter 1701

Rosalie smiled and answered, “Mary is worried. She asked about my condition.”

Byron nodded and sat by the bed as he mentioned casually, “One of the doctors was missing when I was back. Did he tell you where he was going?”

Rosalie’s smile froze.

She did not expect Byron to notice such a slight difference.

What did not occur to her was that he would even care about that.

After a momentary shock, Rosalie remained calm and said, “I’m not sure about that. It’s fine as long as someone is outside. It won’t make any difference even if one is missing.”

Then, she continued helplessly, “I’m awake now. There’s no need for so many experts to guard outside. Tell them to get some rest.”

Byron took out an apple from the bag and peeled the skin. However, he looked worried.

According to what he knew about Rosalie, she would not request to eat something sweet when she just recovered from her illness or ask him to get something from a store that far.

He knew she needed some space, yet he had no idea why.

However, he did as told.

From the situation he had observed and the reaction of Rosalie and the experts, it was not difficult for him to guess what she had discussed with the experts.

The only thing she would have discussed with them was the poison in her.

Realizing this, Byron’s expression turned gloomy and he stopped peeling the apple.

“Has the poison in your body been cleared?”

He turned around and looked into Rosalie’s eyes.

Startled, Rosalie smiled helplessly and said, “You noticed?”

She knew she could not keep it from Byron for long.
