"Impossible..."
Xander's eyes trembled as he murmured repeatedly.
‘Impossible! I used herbs and development methods that are only found in our ancient medical books. How could Rosalie decipher it?
‘I took so long to develop the medicine. How could Rosalie crack it?!’
"Nothing is impossible."
Byron's cold voice shattered his illusion. His warning was stern. "Rosalie is fine now, Mr. Lancer. Be prepared to pay the price for your foolishness!"
Xander looked at the person in front of him in astonishment.
‘Pay the price? Isn't it miserable enough for me now?’
Byron seemed to know what he was thinking and replied blankly, "This is just an appetizer. This bit of retribution is not enough for all that you’ve done, Mr. Lancer."
The temperature around Byron suddenly dropped, and his eyes were instantly filled with murderous rage. "If it were up to me, you’d already be dead now!"
Xander’s heart shrank as he felt a chill spread from the soles of his feet to his whole body.
He knew what Byron said was true!
Byron’s every punch landed on a vital point. If he had exerted more strength, Xander might not be able to stand at all!
Even though Byron had already restrained himself, the thrashing made Xander feel as if he had already lost half his life!
‘Byron came here just to finish me!
‘However, he changed his mind for some reason!’
Realizing this, Xander could hardly suppress the panic on his face. His eyes trembled uncontrollably.
"What else do you want?"
Byron let go of his hand as if he was throwing a rag, and Xander's legs gave way. He landed on the table.
"Don’t worry, Mr. Lancer. Just wait and see. I don't need you to beg me, and I never intended to be lenient on you!"
