My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball novel Chapter 1746

Before she could finish, the man suddenly grabbed her wrist.

His lips were already over hers before she could react.

Rosalie was stunned for a few seconds, then slowly closed her eyes and leaned into his arms.

The man's assertiveness paused slightly as he sensed her giving in to him, then his advances became forceful again.

Rosalie was breathless from his kiss. She opened her eyes slightly and saw the back of her best friend on the window of the ward. That made her shy as she struggled slightly.

Byron stopped sensibly but still held her tightly in his arms.

‘A person who had always been calm, unexpectedly showed a rare emotion of fear.’

Realizing this, regret flashed across Rosalie's eyes and just let him hold her.

Not sure how long it took before Byron finally let go of his embrace. He returned to his usual calmness.

"You’ve worked hard these few days," Rosalie spoke in distress as she watched the man in his most vulnerable state, unable to hide his fatigue.

Byron just looked at her straight. "I’m glad you are fine. I will never go easy on those who make you suffer!"

Rosalie was slightly taken aback, and then suddenly said, "Just now..."

She knew this man too well.

She woke up from a coma and the little ones were beside her.

Although she felt strange about Byron's absence, it did not occur to her immediately.

Thinking about it now, Byron must have returned the favor to Xander.

"Sorry for not being by your side when you woke up."

Byron apologized deeply. His brows were slightly furrowed, and there was still worry in his eyes.

He was worried that the little woman would think he did not value her enough.

Rosalie noticed the subtle emotion in his eyes, and her heart was moved again.
