Rosalie quipped when she heard Mary said that, “Are you sure you want to treat us to dinner with Byron around?”
She knew her best friend well. Her best friend would never give up any chance to take advantage of Byron.
However, Mary rejected decisively this time. “I can get him to pay the next time. This time is on me. President Lawrence will have to wait for the next time to pay.”
Rosalie laughed. “Alright. Dinner is on you.”
Mary said, “I’ll send you the location in a while. Let’s meet at the restaurant.”
They hung up the call after that.
Rosalie looked at Byron. “Mary said she's buying us dinner tonight and asked us to bring the kids along.”
Byron agreed and went to pick the little ones up.
The little ones had not seen their mommy since they returned home last night.
The little ones were excited to finally see their mommy back in good health.
“Mommy! You're back!”
Smiling, Rosalie crouched and hugged the three kids as they rushed toward her. She listened patiently to what they were saying.
After chatting with them for a while, she said softly, “Come on. I'll change your clothes. Your godmother is taking us out for dinner tonight.”
The little ones were excited to hear their godmother wanted to take them out for dinner. “Hooray!”
The family of five had reunited, and their mommy had been cured. They could even have a meal with their godmother tonight.
For the little ones, there was nothing better than having their dearest family by their side.
