My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball novel Chapter 1820

Rosalie hung up the call, not giving Andrius any chance to refuse.

“It's good enough for you to advise me in these matters. If Quirke Enterprise bears the cost, it'd be equivalent to you spending the money. It'd be meaningless.”

Rosalie was worried Byron would be displeased and quickly explained.

However, the man was smiling. “How you're dealing with this shows that you're already a very qualified businessperson!”

“Really? That’s good! After all, if Andrius can control the price, it'll help me save a lot of money. Spending only 200 million bucks would be very cost-effective.”

Rosalie turned around and brewed Byron’s favorite black tea.

The tea was fragrant. Rosalie also took a sip and enjoyed the sweetness of it.

“Rosalie, come with me to my junior high school tomorrow. I made an appointment with Chloe. The old principal there is seriously ill. Let’s go and visit him!”

Byron carefully watched Rosalie’s reaction.

Rosalie smiled. “Um, since you and Miss Lincoln have made an appointment, you should go with her since you're former classmates. I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to go along. It doesn’t matter. I’m not jealous!”

Rosalie was frank. She knew how to express herself after six years.

She did not need to be jealous. Byron had done enough to prove his love.

Moreover, he must have told Chloe that he wanted to bring her.

Rosalie had no reason to be displeased.

“It’s not that. Have you forgotten that you're a miracle doctor? I thought of taking you there to help treat the old principal. Perhaps the old principal can miraculously recover with your medical skills.”

“I see. I’ll go, then. You can pick me up at the research institute. I have to be at the research institute early tomorrow morning.”

...

At nine o‘clock in the morning, the alarm clock rang. Chloe woke up in a daze.

She could only feel the throbbing pain in her head.

She was so drunk last night that she could not remember what the alarm clock was for. She wanted to turn it off and go back to sleep.

After all, she could forget her upset feeling if she was asleep.

However, it suddenly struck her that she had made an appointment to meet the old principal with Byron.
