Melody rushed to the villa early in the morning.
The children were all awake, anxiously waiting for Grandma to come and feed them delicious food.
At first, Melody searched for signature delicacies from various places and bought them for the kids.
In the end, she decided to make them herself because she disliked the unauthentic flavors.
Today, she brought some osmanthus cakes.
When Rosalie woke up, she felt that her whole body was about to fall apart in pieces.
Her husband was so terribly strong she even wondered if he secretly took a performance-enhancement drug last night.
Before he woke up, she tiptoed around and changed her clothes. Then, she went downstairs to greet Melody.
"Mom, you're here so early!"
Rosalie went downstairs and saw that the kids were stuffing their faces happily in the kitchen. Melody came over with another serving in her hand, which was obviously prepared for her.
Melody was stunned for several seconds by Rosalie’s address.
Only then did she come to her senses, and her smile deepened. "Hey, come and try the osmanthus cakes I made myself!"
Rosalie nodded.
This change of address was quite natural. She used to call Melody that way before, only to later have it become 'Aunt Melody'.
Rosalie did not want to be wishy-washy after they had already obtained the official papers.
As soon as Melody put down the cakes, she turned her head and hurried to her car.
When she came back, she had a big envelope in her hand, but it did not look like a thick one.
"Rosalie, this is a welcome gift for you. It's a bank card and a real estate certificate. There isn’t much money in the bank card. It's just purely symbolic, so it's six figures of eight! The real estate certificate is a beach house that I found while I went shopping with a friend. You can take the kids there for vacation in the future!"
Rosalie was stunned for a moment. She thought it would be just a formality. She never expected Melody to prepare so meticulously.
She smiled and accepted it wholeheartedly. "Thank you, Mom!"
