My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball novel Chapter 2000

Chapter 2000 Not What He Expected

Byron returned home immediately after a short meeting at the company.

He had picked up courses. All the care knowledge for pregnant mothers was planted in his mind.

He was surprised to see Andrius and Mary at his manor.

"You just delivered supplements last night. What do you plan to give Rosie today?” Byron quipped.

However, Mary glared at him fiercely.

Even Andrius looked at him gloomily and with a hint of disdain.

Instead, Rosalie had a smile on her face.

She knew, of course, that after the two of them heard the story, they would be dissatisfied with how Byron had treated her in their marriage previously.

"Andrius, what’s going on? Talk to me!"

Mary's gaze turned sharp and cold.

Byron felt a chill running down his spine. He began to recall what he had done that offended his wife.

"Byron, do you remember this wish bottle?"

Rosalie approached him with the wish bottle. As if something had struck her, she placed the purple paper back into the bottle after folding it.

Byron looked at it and soon recalled what it was.

"Isn't this the wish bottle I gave you back then? Looks like Andrius dug it up. Were you all talking about what happened back then?" Byron looked at Mary tentatively.

Mary's anger spiked when she saw Byron’s calm reaction. She retorted, "President Lawrence, let me ask you something. Since you knew Rosalie years ago, why did you treat her so badly when you married her back then?"

Probably because of his career, he lost his trust in people.

At the same time, Rosalie became his wife by coincidence.

It was because they wanted to make his grandfather happy that his parents got him a wife. They even gave his wife's father some money as a reward.

However, it turned out to be the beautiful girl he met when he was young.

That was not the change he was expecting from Rosalie.

A girl who was in the library every day should not have become such a woman. She even married a random man because of money.

Would she have married some other wealthy man if she did not marry him?

At that time, it was impossible for him to have any feelings for Rosalie, whom he thought had turned out to be someone like that.
