Chapter 264 I Thought You Were All A Family
Byron frowned. No matter which way he used it, he just could not figure out how to properly utilize this thing in his hands.
Just as he was starting to feel annoyed, he noticed that a pair of eyes were looking at him softly.
He looked up, and his eyes met Rosalie’s smiling ones.
When their eyes met, Rosalie immediately withdrew her gaze, and her expression became neutral again.
Seeing this, Byron frowned, but the annoyance in his heart dissipated. He turned his head to a staff member and said, “I’m not really used to using this thing. Could you please show me how to use it?”
The staff member had been watching from the sidelines for a while now. Although the man looked tall and strong, his posture was as stiff as ever when using the shovel. The staff member had wanted to tell him that he was doing it wrong, but the man gave off a somewhat distinguished vibe. When not talking, he exuded an aloof aura that made him difficult to approach. The staff member had tried speaking up several times, but their courage would dissipate before their words could leave their mouths. They ended up just watching silently from a distance.
Therefore, when they saw the man actually taking the initiative to ask them for help, they hurried over to give Byron a demonstration.
Byron observed the other’s posture and realized how ridiculous he must have looked as he remembered his own posture.
After learning how to properly use a shovel, their progress became much faster.
With the five of them working together, they finished planting the first sapling. They coordinated with each other amazingly as they worked on the next one.
The three kids were also slowly letting loose, occasionally saying something to Rosalie that made her laugh lightly.
Byron watched them intently as he worked.
Seeing them being so happy and joyous together, the staff member could not help asking,” Pardon me, but are you all a family?”
